Driftime® are sponsoring Get Together Through Gaming, a live event raising money for better mental health with Leeds Mind.

It’s time to Get Together Through Gaming

In 2023, Driftime co-founder Abb-d Taiyo joined forces with GTTG, digital agency Few and Far, and Leeds Mind “In the Chat”, getting deep on why videogames can help support good mental wellbeing.

This year, Driftime are sponsoring the event and streaming a game on Twitch, getting involved in a full weekend of gaming and guests discussing the health and wellbeing benefits of gaming. From Fall Guys and Fortnite to Garden Story Stream-a-thon, a whole host of streamers will be getting knees deep in gaming over the 15th-17th March.

“Gaming can be a great way to look after your mental health, connect with your friends and build communities.”

The Get Together Through Gaming Team

Design agency Few and Far partnered with Leeds Mind in the creation of Get Together Through Gaming, reaching new communities online through the expansive world of digital creativity. Leeds Mind is an independent charity delivering local support to communities, with services like counselling, peer support, social prescribing, creative wellbeing activities, employment support and lots more – get involved with the event to raise much-needed funds!
