Leeds Mind and Creative studio Few and Far introduce a new mental health focussed gaming event: Get Together Through Gaming, and speak with Abb-d Taiyo in a mini series called 'In the Chat'.

Get together through gaming

Get Together Through Gaming. A full weekend of gaming and guests, who’ll be be streaming their favourite video games, discussing mental health and the health benefits of gaming.

We collectively believe that gaming can be a great way to look after your mental health, connect with your friends and build communities.

GTTG is here to bring the mental health benefits of gaming to the forefront and to raise valuable funds for Leeds Mind and their wellbeing support team.

In a short series titled 'In the Chat' Driftime's co-founder, Abb-d Taiyo, will be speaking with Colin Grist of Few and Far on why video games are important, and how games have helped with mental wellbeing.

Join Colin and Abb-d in the universe of No Man's Sky, as they explore vast procedurally generated galaxies, take on Nexus missions, loot for resources and build bases the Architectural Digest would be proud of, all whilst discussing mental health and the importance of games in the 'space'... get it? 🚀
