Following Driftime®’s redesign of the Design Declares website, we are calling for votes of honest feedback to help us secure a coveted awwward…

D!’s new website is up for an awwward!

Time for a makeover! Driftime® have designed a subtle evolution of the existing Design Declares brand to reach a versatile audience quickly spanning the globe.

From updating the typography to support multiple languages, to introducing a new “emergency red” brand colour, we worked hard to develop a design approach that uses a simple typeface in alternative ways using size, layout and hierarchy to resonate with our international community of designers.

We spent time thinking about the site structure, exploring how we could improve the UX of the site by spreading the content more evenly across multiple pages. By championing each chapter with their own version of the site, we designed pages that effectively communicate the importance of each chapter as more than just their translations, with a unique “Latest” page that displays articles from all of the global chapters, making it easier for anyone from the UK to read about what's happening in D! Ireland, Brazil, or any other global chapter.

And now we’re asking for your help! By giving your honest feedback of a rating out of ten for four key categories spanning design, usability, creativity, and content, you’ll be giving Design Declares the best chance of securing an awwward.
